With over 20 years of experience, Calinda has dedicated her career to animal care, starting her journey in 2004. She began at the RSPCA and worked in Koala Quarantine at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary before expanding her expertise in New Zealand, where she worked at the Kiwi Bird and Reptile Park in Queenstown and a Large Animal Farm Vet Hospital in the North Island. Calinda’s diverse background means she has cared for a wide range of animals, from small pets to wildlife and farm animals. Now settled back in Mudgeeraba with her husband, three daughters, and a menagerie of pets, she continues her passion for veterinary nursing, bringing a wealth of experience and a compassionate touch to every animal she cares for.
